Jainagar is a village in Shahada taluka, Nandurbar. The village was experiencing a water crisis following the washing away of a small dam constructed around 15 years ago, which supported the water needs of five villages nearby.

On a request from the villages, NAAM carried out desiltation of one dam and two nalas in a short duration of five months. This water conservation initiative impacted a population of 15,900, with access to water for five villages, viz. Jainagar, Borale, Dhandre, Nibhare and Kodhawal; besides supporting the irrigation of 1120 hectares of land.
